SilverTop Timbers Tasmania is working hard to ensure that timber supply can be truly
sustainable, renewable, and
environmentally responsible. In doing so we can secure a timber supply for future generations and an environment
worth living in.


SilverTop Timber Tasmania is a private forestry plantation and timber processing operation located in the beautiful hills of the Southern Midlands area of Tasmania.

The Timbers


SilverTop Timber Tasmania plantation
includes Shinning Gums (Eucalyptus
Nitiens) aka Silvertop, up to 30 yrs old and
newly planted specialty timber.
When planted the Shinning Gums were
destined for pulp, but as the trees matured
the furniture and architectural quality and
value of the timber has been realized.

At SilverTop Timbers Tasmania, we keep the chain of timber supply all in one place. By selectively felling, replanting and processing our timber on site we can reduce our carbon footprint and monitor the quality for our customers and impact to our local ecosystem, ensuring wildlife habitat disturbances are minimized.

In conjunction with Diitto
Creations , SilverTop Timbers
Tasmania is also processing
salvaged timbers. Trees
destined for firewood or left to rot, are being repurposed by Diitto Creation owner and
designer Tristan Lassig.
